How it works
From nomination to your door, in four steps
Nominate us
Tell your GP surgery — or us — that A E Hobbs is your nominated pharmacy. It takes two minutes, and you only do it once.
Request your repeat
Order online, over the phone, in the NHS App, or pop in. We take it from there and request approval from your GP.
We check & dispense
Our pharmacists safety-check every item against your record, then dispense it — usually within two working days.
Collect or delivery
Collect from Mount Pleasant whenever suits you, or have it delivered to your door for a flat £5.
The only bit that matters
Nominate us once — then never think about it again
“Nominating” a pharmacy simply tells the NHS where to send your electronic prescriptions. Once A E Hobbs is your nominated pharmacy, every future repeat comes straight to us automatically. You can do it three ways:
- Tell us — in store or by phone — and we’ll set it up for you
- Change it yourself in the NHS App under “nominated pharmacy”
- Mention it next time you speak to your GP surgery
