NHS service
A moment now, protection all winter
Flu and Covid vaccinations for children and adults — free on the NHS if you’re eligible. Privately, a flu jab is £25; a Covid jab costs more.
Why choose Flu & Covid Vaccinations?
Children and adults
We vaccinate the whole family, from children to older adults, so one visit can cover everyone.
Free on the NHS if eligible
Book your free NHS flu or Covid jab through the official NHS booking service and choose A E Hobbs as your pharmacy.
Flu £25 privately — Covid is more
Not eligible for a free jab? A private flu vaccination is £25. A private Covid vaccination costs more than the flu jab, as the vaccine itself is far more expensive — price on request.
Available 14 Sep 2026 – 31 Mar 2027
When asked for a pharmacy, choose A E Hobbs Pharmacy, Tunbridge Wells (TN1 1RJ).

Questions, answered
Eligibility is set by the NHS each season and usually covers older adults, pregnant women, carers, some children and people with certain long-term conditions. The NHS booking page checks this for you, or ask us in store.
Yes, we offer flu and Covid vaccinations for children as well as adults. Call us if you’d like to check what’s suitable for your child’s age.
The Covid vaccine costs us considerably more to buy in than the flu vaccine, so the two can’t be priced the same. A private flu jab is £25; for the current Covid price, ask us in store or call — we’ll always tell you before you commit.
Yes. Where both are due, they can safely be given in the same visit, one in each arm.
